I am a philosopher of science with established expertise in both empirical research and archival work. My work in the philosophy of science develops case studies from throughout the history of science and applies these cases to outstanding issues in the philosophy of race, the philosophy of medicine, and bioethics. I have made contributions to the philosophical, historical, and empirical literature on scientific racism, pharmacogenetics, precision medicine, genetic causation, racial health disparities, medical research in prisons, and metaphors in science. My research is both interdisciplinary and firmly rooted in the methodologies and community dialogues of the disciplines to which I contribute. Below are preprints of articles currently in press. |
